Masaya niyang ibinalita sa social media ang kanyang theater stage comeback sa bagong play na kanyang paghahandaan, ang Angels in America: Millennium Approaches.
“In honor of World AIDS Day, it’s finally been said! Been biting my tongue from sharing this to the world! Waited for too long for the perfect play as I’ve been yearning to be back on stage,” banggit sa Instagram post ng batikang aktres at Onanay star.
Labis ang pasasalamat ni Cherie sa pagkakapili sa kanya na mapasama sa cast ng Angels. Aniya: “I can’t thank (director) Bobby Garcia enough for giving me this amazing material to grit my teeth and sink my heart, mind and soul into. More so to be a part of this fantastic ensemble which I have no doubt will bring to the fore living, breathing human hearts from whom I can only learn from and grow.”
Gaano ka-challenging ang role na gagampanan niya sa naturang play? “(It’s) an actor’s dream! As not only will I be playing 1 role but 4 different characters!!!
